ChatGPT Ads

ChatGPT Ads campaigns

A channel that is weeks old, with no historical data behind it. We treat it that way: a test budget, tight measurement and an honest conversation about what is known and what isn't.

Where things stand

OpenAI extended ChatGPT Ads to 31 European markets in August 2026, and the United Kingdom is on the self-service list alongside them. Checked on 2 September 2026, the official availability page shows self-service access in Ads Manager, so you can open an account directly rather than going through a partner agency.

We give the date because the product is only weeks old and moves weekly. Guides written right after launch already state things that are no longer true.

Who sees the ads

  • Only users on the Free and Go plans. Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu accounts see no ads at all
  • Ads are not shown to accounts identified as belonging to people under 18
  • The ad sits below the ChatGPT response, labelled as sponsored and visually separated from the answer
  • OpenAI states that ads do not influence answers and run on systems separate from the model

How the ad gets chosen

Not through exact-match keywords. The system weighs the context and intent of the conversation, your landing page, the title, the copy and your “context hints”, a plain-language description of the situations where your product is relevant. Hints guide matching but do not guarantee delivery in any particular conversation.

Selection runs through a relevance-weighted, second-price auction. The practical consequence is that your landing page and copy affect delivery, not just conversion: a weak page limits your impressions no matter what you bid.

How you pay

  • CPM, for reach: you pay per thousand impressions
  • CPC, for traffic: you pay per valid click
  • oCPC, conversion-optimised: still per click rather than per conversion, but delivery optimises towards clicks likely to produce the tracked event
  • Maximum bids are set at ad-group level. For CPC, OpenAI recommends starting at 3–5 USD per click
  • Campaign-total or daily budgets. A daily budget is a seven-day average: a single day will not exceed twice the amount, and seven days will not exceed seven times it
  • The minimum daily budget depends on your account currency. We confirm it at setup

The creative limits, exactly

They are tighter than Google Ads and they change how you write. A 24-character headline will not hold a value proposition; it reads as a product name, not a slogan.

  • Title: 16–24 characters recommended, 50 maximum
  • Copy: 32–48 characters recommended, 100 maximum
  • Image: PNG or JPG, square, 1200×1200 maximum, publicly accessible
  • The unit also shows your advertiser name, favicon and landing page

What we do

  • Open and configure the account, billed to your company
  • Campaign structure by objective, rather than one campaign trying to do everything
  • Context hints written from real buying intent, not lifted from your Google Ads keyword list
  • Creative inside the limits above, tested in pairs, with the landing page checked first
  • Measurement at three levels: a conversion event in Ads Manager, UTM parameters in analytics, and reconciliation against real orders
  • A monthly report with impressions, clicks, spend, CTR, average CPC and conversions

What we won't promise

The channel is weeks old. There is no historical data, so anyone guaranteeing you a ROAS is making it up. We recommend a test budget kept separate from Google Ads and a measurement window of at least four weeks, so there is enough volume to read.

If your product does not come up in buying conversations, we will tell you before we spend the budget, not in the end-of-month report.

Ads are half the story

Alongside paid placements, how often the assistant mentions you in its organic answers matters too. They are separate systems, and on the second one we work with seenly.ai, the AI visibility platform built inside our group.

Why retailers pick us

The reasons retailers outside Romania end up working with us.

  • 01

    Your working hours

We are in Central European Time — one hour ahead of the UK, in the same hours as the rest of the EU. Stand-ups happen live, not overnight.

  • 02

    Twelve years on Magento

We have worked on Magento since version 1, through the move to 2, and now on Hyvä. Not a team that added it to a service list last year.

  • 03

    You talk to the developers

No account manager relaying messages. The people writing the code are in the call, in English, and can answer why something was built that way.

  • 04

Roughly a third of a London rate

Same seniority, European labour costs. That is the whole of the difference — there is no offshore quality trade being hidden in the number.

  • 05

    Written scope, fixed stages

Every project is broken into stages with what is in each one, what is not, and what it costs. You can stop after any of them.

  • 06

    Hyvä Bronze Partner

Listed by Hyvä, and a Google and Adobe partner. Verifiable, not a logo on a page.

What clients say

Over 50 brands have worked with us

  • Scaling and consulting

A professional, creative and motivated team. Communicating with them was easy, and that is what let us grow steadily.

  • Services that produced results

In ten years I have dealt with 15 to 20 agencies. The balance they strike between technical and off-page SEO is what recommends them, whatever stage your company is at.
