About us
A Magento team that has been doing this since before it was fashionable
We build stores on Magento 2 and Hyvä, then keep optimising until the speed shows up in orders. Senior developers, European hours.

Who we are
A team that worked on Magento before it was fashionable
VONTEQ is the agency behind more than 50 brands, across Romania, the UAE and Western Europe. We started on Magento over twelve years ago, when most agencies were recommending something else because it was simpler to deliver.
We stayed on Magento because it is the only open-source platform that carries a large catalogue, complicated business logic and a real order volume without getting in your way. And since 2022 we have been a Hyvä partner — the framework that solved the one serious problem Magento had: a slow frontend.
We don't only do development. The same team that builds the store does its SEO, its campaigns and its conversion work — because a fast store with no traffic doesn't sell, and traffic sent to a slow store is wasted.
How we work
Four things you can check for yourself
Not “passion” and “excellence”. Commitments you can test on the first call.
We tell you when it isn't worth it
If the audit shows the project won't get you what you're hoping for, we say so. We have lost projects that way. We prefer it to a relationship that sours in month four.
The downsides are on the page, not in a footnote
Hyvä has a separate licence and extensions that need porting. Magento wants more expensive hosting. We write it on the site so you learn it before the contract.
We measure before we promise
We start from real Core Web Vitals and from what actually happens in the funnel, not from a lab test that looks good in a deck.
We don't lock you in
When you leave you get everything: code, documentation, credentials. If you stay, you stay because it's worth staying.

Partnerships & tooling
Verifiable partnerships, not logos on a page
These give us direct vendor support, licences, and sight of the product roadmaps we build on. Every one of them can be checked in the partner's own directory.
What clients say
Over 50 brands have worked with us
Scaling and consulting „A professional, creative and motivated team. Communicating with them was easy, and that is what let us grow steadily.”
Services that produced results „In ten years I have dealt with 15 to 20 agencies. The balance they strike between technical and off-page SEO is what recommends them, whatever stage your company is at.”
Want to work with us?
We look for people who would rather say “I don't know, let's measure” than improvise. If that's you, write to us.
